Texture Pack: (1.0) dokucraft, the saga continues. (32x) the offical dokucraft continuation project
(1.0) DOKUCRAFT, THE SAGA CONTINUES. (32X) THE OFFICAL DOKUCRAFT CONTINUATION PROJECT
After Doku announced he won't be continuing Dokucraft, I realised that there will be a lot of people creating remixes of the pack, much like what happened with Doku's first RPG pack. However, this pack is being set up to prevent the spam of all the remix packs, while letting people change, and design, the texture pack to their liking, by allowing textures, which fit the theme of the pack to be uploaded to the customiser website by (nearly) everyone! This will hopefully create a very nice looking community driven texture pack.
If you wish to use any textures created for this pack for use in your own texture pack, please contact me (as well as the contributor who created the texture) for permission beforehand. You are, of course, allowed to use textures credited to Doku. (From the original Dokucraft.)
DO:
* Use this pack in a YouTube video, providing a link to this thread.
* Edit any textures for your own private use, however you must not publicly redistribute them.
* Edit these textures for use in an adventure map, along with a link to the thread. The pack must not be put behind an adf.ly link.

*Re-upload, or release this pack anywhere other than this thread.
*Put this thread, or a download link, behind adf.ly.
*Do not use any textures created for the continuation in your own pack you intend to release, not even as place-holders.

Here's a list of textures which are in need of being finished. Although any alternative textures to these, or current textures, are more than welcome.
Red=Priority

Here is a list of people who have created textures for the pack, and have them uploaded to the customiser. Be sure to message me if I've forgot to add someone.
Answer: We tend to support mods which are also supported by the customiser site, any other mods not supported by the customiser may be ignored, this is because the textures are primarily uploaded onto the customiser. However, a mod might have textures made for it if there's a large enough request, or a contributor decides to work on it.

2)-Question: Will you create higher resolutions of this pack? (64x, 128x, etc.)
Answer: We currently have just over 3,000 textures uploaded to the customiser, and across other download mirrors, meaning we have thousands of different terrain tiles. Creating all these textures in a higher resolution would take hundreds of hours of work, and would require huge amounts of effort. As well as the huge amount of time and effort that it would take, Dokucraft was created in 32x32, and we intend to keep this pack as close to the original as we can.
3)-Question: Will you add textures from other texture packs, such as Gerudoku?
Answer: No, we won't be adding any textures from Doku RPG, or Gerudoku. This is because we are continuing Dokucraft, and not any other texture pack.
4)-Question: I've suggested a texture, will it be created?
Answer: We like to see suggestions, and will often try to create suggested textures. But we can't guarantee that every texture suggested will be made, and is often down to whether or not the suggestion fits the theme, and if it different enough from any texture we already have on the customiser.
5)-Question: What is "Dokucraft Portable"?
Answer: Dokucraft Portable is a texture pack for the Pocket Edition of Minecraft, created by dubca7.
To install this texture pack, just follow the instructions below.
- You will find these at the Android Market
- Download Minecraft - Pocket Editon (About 7 $)
- Download ASTRO File Manager (Free)
- Download ZipSigner 2 (Free)
- Download Pocket Edition Texture Pack (In the downloads section of this post)
Making the backup:
- Start ASTRO File Manager
- Click Application Backup
- Mark Minecraft - Pocket Editon
- Click Backup
- Go back to the main menu
- Click File Manager
- Browse to /mnt/sdcard/backup/apps
- Click and hold on Minecraft - Pocket Editon
- Click Move
- Go /mnt/sdcard/Download
- Click the Paste button
Adding the new textures:
- Open My Computer and browse to YOUR PHONE\Internal Storage\Download
- Copy Minecraft - Pocket Edition-1036.apk onto your computer
- Open it with winrar or what ever program you use for zip files
- Extract the texture pack you have downloaded
- Copy the files from the texture pack into assets folder in the Minecraft - Pocket Edition-1036.apk file
Signing our new apk file:
- Delete or overwrite the Minecraft - Pocket Edition-1036.apk in your YOUR PHONE\Internal Storage\Download folder with the one you have modified
- Uninstall Minecraft - Pocket Editon from your phone
- Start ZipSigner 2
- Click the Chose In/Out button
- Browse to /mnt/sdcard/Download
- Select Minecraft - Pocket Edition-1036.apk
- Click Sign The File
Installing our new Minecraft:
- Start ASTRO File Manager
- Click File Manager
- Browse to /mnt/sdcard/Download
- Click on the Minecraft - Pocket Edition file you just signed (There will be two files there, the unsigned and the signed. I always browse to the YOUR PHONE\Internal Storage\Download on my computer and delete the file I see there. You wont see the signed file. Makes life a little easier)
- Click on Minecraft - Pocket Edition
- Click Install
- You are done !
